You may (or may not) have already known that 776, together with two "loop" roads (the Old Englewood Rd/ Dearborn Loop and the Placida/Gasparilla Road Loop) have been designated the LEMON BAY/MYAKKA TRAIL SCENIC HIGHWAY. As the ribbon cutting approaches, the LBMT Scenic Highway Committee has now formed a sub-committee to handle all of it's public relations needs.

Much work needs to be done and many hands will make it light. Help is needed with data entry, Internet research and data verification. If you feel you can help just 2 or 3 hours in a month, even from home, please come to a meeting on July 23, 7pm at Blinds Blinds Inc. We'll be discussing the goals of the New Public Relations Sub-Committee and the best way to accomplish them.
