We have it,….ENGLEWOOD vs VENICE in a contest of skill and wits. Please join us on Thursday night for an evening of laughs at the Frances T Bourne Jacaranda Public Library, 6:30 pm for a Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest. Our community chapters of Toastmaster’s International sponsor this event.

Toastmasters International is a group designed to develop speaking and leadership skills. Worried about your next big presentation, or small one? Toastmasters can help. In a supportive environment, you can learn the craft of speaking effectively to others. Whether to persuade or inform, Toastmasters can help.

This contest is FREE and open to the public. So come down to 4143 Woodmere Park Blvd and enjoy some light refreshments, and some good company!

We'll even have local celebrity Sharon Lonsdale competing in the humorous division. Sharon doees lots of MC work in our area, and makes regular appearances on WENG's "All About Women".
