WE HAD A GREAT CLEAN UP EFFORT ON SATURDAY!


The LEMON BAY MYAKKA TRAIL SCENIC HIGHWAY COMMITTEE, once again, gathered together to help with the GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN UP!

Last time we concentrated on Charlotte County, and this tme, we are scouring a favorite, historic road in Sarasota County, Dearborn Street in Englewood. Several of us, volunteered and came together at VILLAGE GIFTS, owned by Shelly Stout. She graciously invited us to be stationed in front of her coffee and gift shop, she even provided free coffee, which was a WONDERFUL addition to our morning's efforts!

We paced the full length of Dearborn, on both sides and purged our public pathway of discarded odds and ends! Many long-time merchants were happy to have us come and clean in front of their stores and offices!
